Strong College, founded 20 years ago, focuses on sustainability through hands-on research and fieldwork. With the goal of understanding sustainability and its broader implications, courses are designed to generate a new perspective on both local and global settings. Strong College is located in Guilford Hall.

Through a variety of approaches to learning, students in Strong take Core courses and RC courses that fulfill General Education (GEC) requirements. In addition to participating in small seminar classes as well as larger sections of RC courses, Strong students participate in governing in their own community through committee work and council meetings.
