What is your favorite Grogan Memory?
My twin sister and I loved going to talk to Sopper and Love after class! One of my favorite memories was of all of us sitting around telling funny stories about our childhood! I also loved going by and talking to Ms. Cindy who worked downstairs. We loved to socialize with the faculty and staff! I also loved going down to the basement with my roommate and making noodles late at night and gossiping! Those were the good ol’ days!

What impact did Grogan have on you?
Discussions with the faculty and staff at Grogan catapulted me into getting my degree in communication studies. My degree landed me a job in the legal field working as a Worker’s Compensation paralegal which led to me pursuing my career further in Washington, D.C. Love Crossling acted as a mentor in helping me figure out what I should major in. Taking her class at Grogan College also got me REALLY interested in behavioral sciences. If it weren’t for Sopper and Love talking with me during those formative years, I’m not even sure I would have finished college or had the courage to keep fighting through a major that I found to be very challenging. I think Grogan is an amazing program which really helps with transitioning from home-life to college. I felt as if I were a part of a community, and that I always had people I could talk to and rely on for sound advice. I would recommend Grogan to any in-coming freshman because I believe it made the transition to university fun and manageable. I can honestly say the memories I have at Grogan are ones that I cherish and hold dear to my heart. One of the best experiences of my life!
